Well i did that and got stuck in a loop. I could boot in safe mode to a command prompt and managed to run a chkdsk /f but it was all jacked up beyond chkdsk repair. I then said to heck with it, I'll just re install the OS, well Windows 7 setup couldn't partition the disk due to disk I/O errors. Oh well, I was inside my 30 days so back to the good folks at Amazon this dead beast goes. Oddly enough, I have a Vertex 3 and that has been great, no problems.
