With an MSRP of nearly $100, buying enough for family and friends to share a movie can cost you as much or more than a high end receiver. Still, if money is not a concern, and you like at least occasionally watching 3D video, you will at least find that these glasses work very well. They fit nicely over spectacles so that is no problem. And I do not find their weight to be any concern at all. I have an Epson 5010 PowerLite home cinema projector and these glasses provided a 3D experience that was no different than going to an actual movie theater.
