Its so much easier to clean than the small juicers that I've gone through from Wal-Mart, but the tiny metal lip that controls the flow is delicate and needs some TLC. It has a good strong motor and its heavy enough to stay in place when the juice is being extracted. I tried the Cuisinart juicer but once you push down on the grapefruit, the grapefruit stays in place but the juicer spun around and blasted juice 360 degrees all around my kitchen!! My introduction to citrus juicers was my friend's Phillips brand juicer. It works flawlessly and is easy to clean. Unfortunately Phillips no longer makes it; hence my search for a suitable replacement. This Tribest is an excellent choice. It works well, has a powerful motor and is very easy to clean. I agree with reviewer Zimmerman that the metal lip which directs the juice to your glass feels delicate but it has worked flawlessly. If this juicer has a shortcoming it would be the fact that the screen is not adjustable as some juicers are. Having an adjustable screen allows you to determine how much of the pulp goes into the juice. I like lots of pulp. This juicer screens out a large portion of it. Of course, you can use your fingers and grab some of the pulp out of the screen and drop it in your juice but it would be nice to have an adjustment for that.
